Why the drive-thru is ruining Starbucks
The thing about Starbucks is, their business model is not based around selling coffee, but around being what they call a "third place". That's what they're selling. They say that people have three places to go: home, work, and a "third place" to meet and socialize. If someone uses the drive-thru, they miss out on that "third place" experience. Therefore, they lose the main part of what Starbucks is selling. Plus a lot of times the lines are longer, and it takes forever to get your coffee. I never use the Starbucks drive-thru, and I try not to even go to one with a drive-thru. It seems like the service is better at the ones without a drive-thru.
Friends of mine have brought up the fact that for the first time, Starbucks has started closing some of its stores. My recommendation: Close the drive-thru locations first.
When Scientologists Attack!
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/home.html
"A former Scientology member, Steven Fishman, was brought before court because he committed several crimes in order to get the money to pay for these courses. Scientology urged him to get the money any which way he could. According to Fishman, they also assigned him to kill somebody, and failing that, ordered him to commit suicide. In an interview for Time Magazine, Fishman relayed those stories and blamed Scientology for his crimes. Scientology sued him for slander."

Scroll down to "OT Materials" and check out the summaries and descriptions to see just how crazy these guys are.

Read this. This is OT VIII the "last part", and the most confidential part of the Scientology training. In it, L. Ron Hubbard seems to claim to be fulfilling the role of the anti-Christ from the Bible, along with some other outrageous claims.
Solder-man, solder-man, does whatever a solder can

Break it yourself
Break - it - yourself is my new webpage where I break stuff
http://www.instructables.com/id/Laser-Flashlight-Hack!!/
The laser flashlight.
For some reason, I thought I could do this project. Probably only because I had at least half of the things needed.
1. A mini mag light
2. an old cd burner. (it's supposed to be a dvd burner, but hey...)
So, yeah, this was enough to get me interested. So then I looked online to find the other stuff I needed.
There's something called a "5mW 650nm RED Laser module". I have no idea what this is, but I look it up on ebay.
Whadda ya know, they're only a couple of bucks.
So, I order one, and wait. And wait. And wait. Actually the first one I ordered wasn't from ebay, and it never actually arrived. So, I ordered a second one from ebay, and waited again, and waited, and...
You get the point.
So, at this point I have all of the parts that I need. Stay tuned to find out specifically how I break all this stuff.
